Course Description:  This course discusses the entire concept of “staging” and introduces new terminology to accurately describe these events. Students will learn how to properly recognize the “red flags” or common findings in staged events and how to get staging evidence into court. It will introduce an organized methodology to establish the scene was staged based on (1) the nature of the event, (2) Victimology, (#) Offender Behavior, and ($) Forensics. Instructors are authors of the book, Crime Scene Staging, Investigating Offender Misdirection of the crime scene.
